Overview
Our wholesale polyfloral honey comes from bees foraging across the wildflower meadows, clover and linden stands of rural Lithuania. Because it draws nectar from many plants rather than a single crop, the flavour is balanced and mildly floral, and the colour sits in the light amber range that retail and private label buyers across the European Union look for. We source it from trusted Lithuanian apiaries as single-origin honey with batch documentation, not a mix of anonymous imported lots, so the profile stays consistent from delivery to delivery.
With a moisture content of 18 percent or lower, this honey meets the EU Honey Directive 2001/110/EC and resists fermentation in long storage, which matters when you are holding stock across a season. It is supplied in food-grade 25 kg buckets, 290 kg drums and 1000 kg IBC containers, so you can order a single pallet to trial a line or a full truck for continuous production. Minimum order is 200 kg, and a free 250 g sample lets your quality team verify moisture, taste and crystallisation before you commit.
Storage & shelf life
Store between 10 and 20 degrees Celsius, away from direct sunlight and strong odours, in sealed food-grade containers. Kept below 18 percent moisture, honey does not spoil and has an effectively indefinite shelf life, though we label a best-before date of 24 months for retail compliance.
Fine-grain crystallisation is natural for polyfloral honey and is not a defect. If your process needs it liquid, gentle warming to around 40 degrees Celsius restores clarity without harming quality. For creamed or set retail lines, the fine crystal structure is an advantage.
Quality, testing & documentation
Every batch can be tested for moisture, HMF, diastase activity, pesticide residues and antibiotic residues. We provide a Certificate of Analysis, veterinary documentation and a certificate of origin with each shipment, and can arrange additional country-specific or retailer-specific testing on request.
Customs classification is HS code 0409 00 00. Delivery terms are EXW, FCA or DAP anywhere in the EU, with a typical lead time of 5 to 10 business days depending on destination and volume.
